Born in the Chicago area, Devon studied Economics as an undergrad at Illinois State University where he worked in the career center as a student advisor. From this he gained a passion for helping students learn and discover career pathways. He developed an interest in Human Resources and later went to work at Boeing, then Bank of America and Chase Bank in recruitment roles. He enjoyed helping students with internships and later worked for INROADS doing just that. He came to UC Berkeley to start an internship program for their summer sessions programs and after completing his MA In Human Resources Management at National University online, he was also an internship coordinator in the Haas School of Business Boost pre-college program. He comes to UC Davis after time in career services with Chaminade University in Honolulu and Gonzaga University in Spokane. He enjoys cycling, reading about history and home theater.
