Join the ICC
The Internship and Career Center (ICC) is hiring students for the 2024-25 academic year to represent a diversity of majors, interests and career paths. You may apply for more than one position, but read the position descriptions to make sure you are qualified. Application deadlines are Monday, January 15, at 11:59 p.m., unless noted otherwise. Positions include:
General Qualifications
Some positions have very specific criteria, so please review job descriptions carefully. Additionally, all applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- You must be an enrolled student in good standing through June 2025. Most positions require undergraduate status.
- Previous internship experience is strongly preferred.
- You must be available to start work on Monday, September 16, 2024 (before the start of classes)
- Schedules will be 8-10 hours per week, mostly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays with occasional evening and weekend special events
- You must attend mandatory spring training during spring quarter on April 3, 2024 and Fall Training on Sept 16-20, 2024.
- Background checks will be completed for all hired student staff.
Peer Advisors
Peer advisors provide one-on-one advising to students on a wide-range of basic career-related topics such as resume writing and starting a job search. Some administrative work is also required. Positions available in the following areas:
- Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (AES)
- Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS)
- Health and Biological Sciences (HBS)
- Liberal Arts and Business (LAB)
Student Support Staff
Student support staff perform many different critical tasks to ensure that the ICC runs smoothly. Support staff do little to no one-on-one advising.
