Organization ASUCD Pantry
Organization Description The mission of The Pantry is to aid UC Davis students in their pursuit of a higher education by ensuring that no student ever has to miss a meal or go without basic necessities due to Financial reasons. Located in 21 Lower Freeborn Hall.

Project Title GREEK WEEKEND OF SERVICE -- Helping out at the Pantry
Project Description The volunteer team at The Pantry assists students and aids in our daily operations. Here are some basic tasks you can complete during your shift.

1. Wipe down the walls, shelves, and countertops with cleaning wipes or paper towels and cleaning solution. Cleaning supplies can be found in red crate.
2. Take out the recycling and trash to the CoHo bins. You may use a cart and ride the elevator.
3. Sweep the floors.
4. Check food for expiration dates. Put expired foods in the "expired" bin.
5. Compost expired foods.
6. Organize shelves.
7. Assists with any customers ordering at the Pantry.
8. Create Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) bags.
