Project Title GREEK WEEKEND OF SERVICE -- Arboretum Plant Care
Project Description Volunteers will help care for a native plant garden in the Arboretum and a habitat restoration area on the Putah Creek Parkway. Activities will include weeding, raking, planting, mulching, and trimming to help our native plantings thrive. Learn about native plants and help support habitat for pollinators and native wildlife.

* Note Volunteers will be meeting at the Arboretum GATEway Garden, which is located at 500 First Street in Davis. Meet at the Shovel Gateway sculpture behind the Davis Commons Parking Lot. Parking is available in the public garage at First and F Streets. Please don't park in the Davis Commons parking lot - there's a 2-hour time limit, and it's for customers only. Volunteers should wear sturdy closed toe shoes and warm clothing that they won't mind getting dirty. Volunteers should bring a water bottle. If possible, avoid bringing valuables (laptop, wallet, etc) to the site. If volunteers have any questions, please call or email the volunteer coordinator using the contact information listed above.
