Organization Description Tuleyome was founded in 2002 as a volunteer advocacy-oriented nonprofit conservation organization. Our mission is: "Tuleyome engages in advocacy and active stewardship with diverse communities to conserve, enhance, restore, and enjoy the lands in the region."

Project Title GREEK WEEKEND OF SERVICE -- Building Hiking Trails
Project Description Tuleyome is building new hiking trails in Valley Vista Regional Park. Volunteers will help build new trails - using hand tools to clear the route. Trimming of bushes/trees along with removing roots, rocks, and dirt to create a trail out of the brush/grassland.

* Note Volunteers will be meeting at the trailhead across the road from Camp Haswell on CA-16, north of Rumsey. Please bring work gloves. Pants and long sleeves are recommended.
