Welcome campus partners. The Internship and Career Center (ICC) provides comprehensive career and professional development services, including; advising, coaching on contemporary job search strategies, and access to internship and employment opportunities to guide students and recent alumni to make informed career choices and connections.

We are always looking to partner with campus constituencies to coordinate services, integrating career and professional development as a central part of the UC Davis experience.

Employ a Student

Student employment is a resource for UC Davis students seeking employment opportunities to fund their educational expenses. This site provides a means by which UC Davis students and employers can meet their employment needs. Students have easy access to both UC and non-UC student employment as well as internship and career opportunities.

If you want to hire UC Davis students, you may post part-time, one-time, temporary, and summer full-time work-study and non-work study employment opportunities directly through Handshake.

Sponsor an Intern

The ICC develops approximately 6,000 internships annually, including many work-study projects. Be one of the many UC Davis faculty members who sponsor students to intern for units and/or transcript notation.

The ICC collects and maintains major-level internship and post-graduation statistics about recent UC Davis alum on our data page.

Resources and Information

The ICC is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), a leading source of information on the employment of the college educated. NACE forecasts trends in the job market, tracks legal issues in employment and provides professionals with salary scales and benchmarks. NACE provides guidelines to assist faculty with writing reference letters and with responding to requests from employers to find students for job or internship opportunities.
